In an effort to provide better nutrition to the diets of our children and staff, we have started a poultry farm. Not only does it help provide a balanced diet, but it helps us to work towards becoming self sufficient at our schools. Once we have more than 1,000 chicks, we begin to be able to put money back in to the program. Chickens with high resistance to disease and longer egg laying cycles cost about $1.00 ea.
