Our school is beautiful, but it is out in the bush. The government brought electricity to the region years ago because of the school, but it is not reliable and is expensive. To provide light for classrooms, computer lab, offices, housing and the security lights around campus averages $650/month. Our water pumps also rely on electricity to fill our storage tanks with water for cooking, drinking and bathing. We have a generator that helps, but it needs fuel in order to run. This is an important item, but not one that is provided for in our monthly donations. Many months the electricity is turned off because there is no money to pay. Help us provide needed light and safety to the school.
